Today, Martin Luther King Day, we celebrate the life and legacy of a true champion for democracy. Tomorrow, however, is the 4th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s disastrousCitizens United decision.
Please make sure when members of Congress and their staffs open up their email in the morning they are greeted with a flood of messages from their constituents urging them to support remedies to end the unlimited influence of big money in elections (or thanking them for their support if they are proven leaders on the issue).
Tell them to support efforts, like a constitutional amendment, to undo the harm of cases likeCitizens United and restore Government by the People.

P.S. Even if your senators or representative have already added their support to these efforts, they need periodic reminders that their constituents are with them and that they must keep up the fight.
