Justice for the young African American 17 year old male who was murdered for listening to his music too loudly.

Petition by Arielle Newton
To be delivered to Governor Rick Scott and President Barack Obama

PETITION BACKGROUND

We can no longer let the senseless murder of our young people go unpunished. Michael Dunn is currently on trial for killing Jordan Davis after confronting him over loud music at a gas station. Dunn fired his weapon 10 times; 3 shots were lodged into Davis' body. Dunn is claiming "self-defense." Following the murder, Dunn fled the scene with his girlfriend, stayed at a hotel and ordered pizza. They did not call 911. Police had to apprehend Dunn at his home 130 miles away. Jordan Davis had no criminal record. He was unarmed at the time of his murder. In 2014, this is unacceptable. Please sign this petition and stand in solidarity with Jordan Davis and his family.
