TO DO: Women and Immigration
Source: We Belong Together and National Coalition of Immigrant Women's Rights

Dear Colleagues,

We Belong Together and the National Coalition of Immigrant Women's Rights are working to elevate women's needs in the immigration reform debate! Wednesday's Senate Judiciary Hearing on Comprehensive Immigration Reform offers an important opportunity to urge the Judiciary to remember women, and we need your help to send a powerful message that immigration reform is not comprehensive unless it includes women. We invite your organization to join us in raising your voice and sending a clear message about the importance of including women in immigration reform by signing onto the attached statement for the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

Sign-ons due by 11 AM EST on Tuesday, April 16th (organizational endorsements only)

You can sign on your organization using the google form: To Sign Your Organization on to Statement Click Here.

Email Sarah at womensadvocacy@domesticworkers.org with questions.

Please forward this email to your allies and affiliates. This is a great opportunity to join together to show our numbers, power, and breadth.

Let's make sure that even if the Gang of Eight leaves women and families out, the Judiciary knows without a doubt how important women and families are to organizations across America!

Best,
Sarah
