Obamacare Works

Take The Pledge: Obamacare Works

Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, 47 million women will have access to birth control, well-woman exams, and other preventive health services without co-pays. Over 3 million young adults can stay on their parents' health insurance. Insurers will no longer be able to deny coverage to women who have been pregnant or survived domestic abuse.
And soon, nearly 12 million uninsured women aged 19-44 will be able to sign up for new, more affordable health insurance plans — many getting coverage for the very first time — all because of the new health care law.
But opponents of the law want to take this away — and they have no plans to replace it. They're working to make it harder for women to get the care they need. That's why it's so important that we speak out, spread the word, and help make health insurance more affordable and access to health care available to everyone. Show your support for the Affordable Care Act by signing on to our pledge today!

MESSAGE

I believe in quality, affordable health care for all, and I know that Obamacare works.

The facts are clear: 47 million women will have birth control, well-woman care, and other preventive health services with no out-of-pocket costs. Soon, nearly 12 million uninsured women will qualify for coverage.

Obamacare is already working for millions of women, and it's about to make a lifesaving difference for even more.

That's why I won't let anyone return us to the days when insurance companies could discriminate against women with higher premiums, or deny coverage to the sick because of pre-existing conditions. It's why I won't let politicians keep women from getting the health care they need.

It's why I'm committed to defending the progress we've made, to spreading the word and standing up for the facts, no matter what. Obamacare works -- and I will fight for it. Sign me up.
Sincerely,
