End anti-gay discrimination in U.S. immigration laws!

John and Erwin
John and Erwin, a lawfully married couple, could be forced to leave the U.S. or live apart when Erwin receives his PhD this year and his visa runs out.
John and Erwin, a lawfully married couple, could be forced to leave the U.S. or live apart when Erwin receives his PhD this year and his visa runs out. Unfair immigration laws force loving married couples – like John and Erwin – to leave the U.S. or be torn apart.
Gay and lesbian Americans aren't allowed to sponsor their same-sex spouses for immigration. Tens of thousands of families live in fear that one spouse will be deported, and their world will be turned upside down.
Congress is debating comprehensive immigration reform right now, and an amendment to the legislation could fix this problem. But it won't happen unless more of us put pressure on our lawmakers. Urge your senator to vote to include protections for binational same-sex couples in immigration reform.
