DEMAND THE HOUSE SUPPORTS COMMON-SENSE IMMIGRATION REFORM

During August recess, members of Congress need to hear our voice and recognize that the majority of Americans want them to fix the immigration system NOW. So far, the House has considered piecemeal immigration bills that take the immigration debate in the wrong direction and do not include a roadmap to citizenship. There is no way to fix a broken immigration system with enforcement-only approaches. Speaker of the House Representative John Boehner has stated that he will not allow a vote on immigration unless the majority of House Republicans are supportive. The Senate passed bipartisan immigration reform legislation 68-32.
